  • Essentials Choice 55 includes unlimited talk, text, and data on our network, plus unlimited hotspot data at 3G speeds and unlimited data in Canada and Mexico at 2G speeds. For $10 more per month, you can add 10GB of high-speed 4G LTE hotspot data. Note that, unlike our Go5G or Magenta® plans, taxes and fees are not included in Essentials pricing.

    • Eligible new customers can go into any T-Mobile store and sign up. Please bring valid government proof of age (i.e. driver's license, passport) to prove eligibility.
    • Existing customers can switch in a T-Mobile store or by calling us at 1-800-T-MOBILE. You may be asked to provide proof of eligibility if we do not have your date of birth on record.
    • During congestion, customers on this plan may notice speeds lower than other customers and further reduction if using >50GB/mo., due to data prioritization.
  • For those who want more, The Go5G Plus 55 plan includes everything in the Essentials Choice 55 plan plus unlimited Premium Data, 50GB of high-speed mobile hotspot data, Netflix on us, international and travel benefits like up to 5GB of high-speed data in 215+ countries and destinations, unlimited in-flight Wi-Fi, and up to 15GB of high-speed data in Canada and Mexico, where there’s no setup or roaming charges and your phone works the moment you arrive.

  • New and existing T-Mobile customers who are 55 years of age or older are eligible. To receive this discount, proof of age is required.
