  • Visit a T-Mobile retail store or call 1-800-T-MOBILE. Existing customers can call 611 from their mobile device. You'll be asked to validate your eligible military status after completing activation.

  • Customers with eligible military status and their families, including active-duty military, veterans, National Guard, Reserve, and Gold Star family members are eligible for military plan.

    1. Military individual must be the primary account holder, and the account must maintain a valid military line.
    2. T-Mobile for Business customers are eligible for up to 12 lines; however, government accounts are not eligible.
    3. No Credit Check and Prepaid customers are not eligible.
  • No. To activate or change to a military plan, call 611 from their mobile device, or visit a T-Mobile store. You'll be asked to validate your eligible military status after completing activation.

  • After activating or switching to Essentials Military, Go5G™ Military, Go5G Plus™ Military, or Go5G Next Military, you'll need to verify your military status. Ensure that the military person or Gold Star family member is designated as the primary account holder. Visit your local T-Mobile store and we'll walk you through the process. If you're making the change over the phone and need to verify, you can verify your status at my.t-mobile.com/profile.

    • The validation process typically happens in a few quick steps and takes less than 10 minutes. You will have 45 days from plan activation to verify your eligible military status or you will be moved to Essentials, Go5G™, Go5G Plus™, or Go5G Next plans with no military discount, which will result in a price increase.
    • In some cases, you will be asked to upload documentation to verify your eligible military status.
  • To verify that the military member is on the account, they must be the primary account holder. For active duty military members who are deployed, we will work with their spouse or family member to verify eligibility. Visit a T-Mobile retail store or call 1-800-T-MOBILE for assistance.

  • In some cases, you may be asked to provide additional details to verify your eligibility (such as Business customers with account type "B"). If further information is required, you will be notified right away and will need to upload documents confirming your military status to complete your verification.

  • We will accept any document that proves you are serving or have served with honorable discharge and displays your first and last name, valid dates, and/or status (for example veteran or active duty). T-Mobile will accept numerous forms of verification, but the most common documents are DD214, leave and earnings statements, and orders.

  • You will be moved to Essentials, Go5G™, Go5G Plus™, or Go5G Next, and your bill will be adjusted to reflect the cost difference.

  • It will not affect your eligibility if your status changes. Go5G™ Military, Go5G Plus™ Military, and Go5G Next Military are available to all military, veterans, National Guard, Reserve, and Gold Star family members.

  • Netflix Standard with ads (valued up to $7.99/mo.) is included at no additional cost on the following plans: any Go5G™ or Magenta® plan with two or more lines, any Go5G Next, Go5G Plus™ or Magenta® MAX plan. Get more details at https://www.t-mobile.com/offers/netflix-on-us.
